La Clusaz’s ski area spreads across five mountains and boasts over 125km of pistes, 84 slopes and an impressive 1500m descent. The slopes are well connected with efficient state of the art ski lifts. Suited for skiers of all abilities. Those who have never skied before can take advantage of the easier slopes ( 58% of all the pistes are considered to be beginner level). Intermediate and advanced skiers can also enjoy the 132km of more challenging ski slopes and off-piste opportunities. In addition this resort is increasingly attracting those who are a part of the freeriding scene.
The pretty, rustic village of La Clusaz has kept its traditional mountain feel and French flavour with its authentic features including the village square and Savoyard church. In fact every Monday in La Place de l’Eglise you can browse the typical market with its local produce. The lively streets that surround the square are full of tasteful hotels, bars and shops.
